Natasja Maria Fourie offers the viewer insight into a collection of intimate portraits. Gravitating towards content that scrutinizes themes that deal with femininity, transition, intimacy and the vulnerability of the female body, Fourie’s images capture how we share our thoughts, feelings, lives and bodies. Her subjects are at times perfumed with a spray of sentiment, emotion, fantasy, and in other instances they are stripped raw, reflecting realties of decay, mortality and ruin.

“If the answer is false, explain why”
So, when I’m writing *anything* - fic, fanfic, article, blog post, whatever - I do research. Tons of it. Hours of it. Tie myself up in knots over it. I have half-finished stories that wouldn’t come close to half the wordcount of the background I’d read up for them.
ANYWAY as I’m writing about the Luteces a lot at the moment, I wanted to get as accurate an idea as possible about their home environment so I started up Clash in the Clouds and put together a floor plan, swatches of materials and a few screenshots to cover everything we get to see in the game.
As you’d expect from a Bioshock game, there’s a stunning amount of detail in only a handful of rooms - and just enough mysterious ambiguity to give the creative side of the fandom plenty of freedom to play with. I’ve thrown together most of what I picked up on in the imgur album including HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED
lovingly handcrafted in MSPaintfloorplans.
So, drink up and happy fic-crafting!
